Founded in 2021, NEXT SHIFT Hockey is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone to play hockey.
Our team of former professional athletes and Canadian Forces Members volunteer their time to give back to the hockey community.

NEXT SHIFT Hockey has been committed to making hockey accessible to all through providing gear and financial assistance for participation.
NEXT SHIFT also provides programs for youth development in leadership, fitness and community engagement.

NEXT SHIFT Hockey is committed to gathering new and slightly used hockey gear, and distributing it to players in need as soon as possible.
Through partnerships with key community organizations, we've helped over 375 local players, including more than 110 goalies.

NEXT SHIFT Hockey provides financial support to players who need assistance in order to participate in the game.
We offer partial registration fee assistance, team fee assistance, and other support to remove any barriers that may be preventing young athletes from playing.

From supporting Sledge Hockey players to the Kruger Big Assist program, and empowering 91 athletes from the African Hockey Association, each endeavour reflects our core values.
