A landmark year. Launched a professional website, donated equipment to 285 players and 85 goalies, and contributed $4,000 to the Assist Fund for registration fees. Coaches connected with local high schools, the Iron MAIDENS WHC, and the African Hockey Association to introduce beginners to the sport. Deepened partnerships with First Assist Charity, Ollson Sports Group, and Hockey Sans Frontieres / Hockey Without Borders, bringing hockey to Indigenous communities across Canada and internationally. TRUE Hockey made a $20,000 equipment donation in support of our head goalie instructor. Financial support received from the Ottawa Bandits, Russell Township Fire Services, Embrun Skate Sharpening, and NAV CANADA. Tenacity Hockey welcomed us to Summerside, PEI, helping expand our message to new players. Special recognition to the Ottawa Bandits, Etobicoke Dolphins, Nepean Minor Hockey Association, Eastern Ontario Cobras, Casselman-Embrun IceDogs, Embrun Minor Hockey Association, and U15 A1 Cumberland Minor Hockey Association for their exceptional gear collection efforts.

Next Shift Hockey Canada 5 Year Anniversary

Providing equipment and financial assistance so every athlete can access the game they love.

Together, we can.

Next Shift Hockey Canada acknowledges that our home base in Limoges, Ontario, is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation. We are grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and play on these lands and recognize the enduring presence, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.

As an organization dedicated to creating opportunities through sport, we believe that learning about the history, traditions, and communities of the land we are on is an important step toward understanding, respect, and reconciliation.

Whether you are joining us in Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, or elsewhere across Canada and around the world, we encourage you to take time to learn whose traditional territory you are on, connect with local Indigenous communities, and deepen your understanding of their history, culture, and ongoing contributions.

Together, through respect, education, and inclusion, we can help build stronger communities both on and off the ice.
